Cinemark Helena and XD opens its doors Friday to three new movie auditoriums featuring the latest in digital projection and sound technology.

The theater has 13 screens, including one that is “XD” and can broadcast in the latest 3D technology on a floor-to-ceiling screen with custom surround sound.

The new XD Cinemark at the Pavilion at Durbin Park opens, the beginning of what workers there hope will be an anchor to bring families to the new shopping area.
