Greyhound offers free bus tickets for runaway kids to reunite with families The program, established in 1987, provides a free ticket for the parent or legal guardian of kids under 15.
Every year, about 400 kids who run away get a free ticket back home through the partnership. Greyhound’s Home Free program has been around for more than three decades.
Greyhound Lines partners with the National Runaway Safeline, or NRS, in giving free bus tickets to about 400 adolescents a year.
